Before my betta got infected one of my ballon mollies had the fungus to begin with. A day after I started to treat the mollie I noticed the fungus started growing on the betta too! So I quarintined both of them in a 10 gallon tank, after 5 days both fish where cured. After about a day the fungus came back on the betta, it's been about 4 days and the fungus is just getting worse he's so stressed out that he's not even moving around anymore! It's killing me just to see him that way. I'm using API fungus cure, the one that makes the water green. Any suggestions?

How many fish are in the main tank and which type.
Water stats of main tank in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
How many gallons is the main tank.

Sounds like columnaris if its white and fluffy.
Columnaris is bacterial and sometimes you need to treat longer than stated.

Its a 20 gal tank, i have 4 mollies 4 loaches 1 dwarf gourami and 1 betta. When i noticed the mollie had the fungus i quarintined her right away and did a water test but everthing was normal, the next day i noticed it on the betta and took him out and placed him in with the mollie. I then did a gravel vac with a 50% water change waited a day and double checked the water again.

Have you read the link I left.
Doe it sound like columnaris to you.
