Maybe I should have posted this in emergencies, but it isn't really an emergency.
I have a bronze cory who seems to have a fungal infection, a small patch on his side looks as though its mouldy. I'm using interpet fungus treatment, but I've been told that I should just kill the fish, as he won't get better. Is this right? I don't really want to, he was one of my original fish, and I've got quite attached to him now.

What colour is the fungus? what does it look like? Fluffy? Flaky etc?

rubbish, fungus is easily treatable, he should recover with appropriate treatment and clean water
