Tank size: 90L - 20 (UK) Gallons
pH: 7.6
ammonia: 0
nitrite: 0
nitrate: 5
kH:
gH:
tank temp: 25.0

Tank inhabitants: 1 ruby shark, 1 marble sailfin plec, 1 gold ram, 1 keyhole, 4 pearl danio, 3 orange danio, 5 baby platys. This may seem like alot of fish, but at the moment they are all babies and we have a 240ltr tank downstairs for when they get bigger :)..

We recently moved our Keyhole from our downstairs tank (240litres) into our smaller tank because he was being picked on.. at first he was fine, settled in very well swimming around and eating.. but recently (last few weeks are so) he's got fungas type symptoms so we are treating with interpet anti fungas and finrot (added yesterday 1/12/10) today all the fish are gasping for air and pooing white string like stuff, this has only started today though :/.. I was wondering if it's the chemical doing this? Appart from the poo they are completly fine, swimming around and eating normaly!

When adding medications its always a good idea to up the air in your tank, add an extra airline or move your spray bar above the waterline while treating the tank :good:

If the stringy poo persists use an antiworm med, i use sterazine found is works ok :good: After the antifulgal med you are using btw not both together.

We just moved the filter up so its a little above the water line, so the oxygen should hopefully be okay now :)..

Do they sell sterazine in most lfs? :)..

They should, its made by waterlife :good:

Woke up this morning to find the keyhole dead :(, i guess it had just gone to far. I'm really gutted cause i thought he would make it :(.. So we did a 20ltr water change put the pads back in the filter, and our usual chemicals to keep the tank stable now the water is cloudy as hell, you can't even see from one side to the other but im hoping its just chemical bloom?
