Fulval U3 Which Mode?

Hi,

This filter has 3 modes and although they have brief discriptions, I am unsure as to which mode is most suited to my tank.

It's a tropical setup , about 100 litres, a few live plants and the fish (when we get them) will be mostly guppies and cardinals etc.

I've got mine set to use the venturi for extra oxygenation.......but frankly I just picked that one to begin with and I'm too worried to change in case it has a negative effect on the fish.

Funny you should say that as after running mine on the B setting, I've just set to A which is the venturi one. I just want a good balance between keeping both fish & plants happy....

any more ideas on this?

I'm also struggling with the Fluval heater. It keeps going blue over night and has stayed blue today. I thought the whole point was that it would increase the temperature if needed!

i got use mine one 'a' i think is the one where it comes from the top as my hatchets seem to love the current, plus i use an external which sucks the water from the bottom so i persume it moves the bottom part around pretty alright
