baby brine shrimp is fine, there is also liquifry your lfs should have some.

BBS is fine. As is crushed flake food. As is fry food. I personally don't use Liquifry, because it can be hard to see if the fry are getting it, and I'm not sure the fry can always see it. Your fish store should sell some brand of fry food. TetraMin and Hikari are the most common. You can also try feeding any other small frozen foods. Or crush up some freeze-dried food. Veggies will work too. Just make sure you don't feed a ton of the high-protein foods, as it can cause constipation and bloating. A balanced diet is best. :)

Peas, lettuce, zucchini, cucumber, broccoli....all of those are fine, as are others. It's best to blanch them first, to soften them up. And peas have to be shelled. Just very small amounts. And remove what isn't eaten, otherwise it will deteriorate and make your levels rise.

ok well when you say blanch are you meaning softening them up like you said if so if i were to put some lettuce in water right now then feed it to them tomorrow would i be ok

Blanching means dropping them in boiling water for a few seconds to a minute to soften it up. :)

right now i let them eat the stuff off live plants flake food real small of course and might start doing what anastasia said

You could always make your own infusoria by sticking lettuce in a jat and letting it sit for a few days in a sunny window sill.

Yea, Annas way works well, great to keep them unbloated.

I would gow with Anna's way to but I normally switch to small flakes about two to three weeks later so that I have to worry less about them being very picky when they are older, but that all depends on how big they are/how fast they are growing.
