O.k, well, I was just about to retest the nitrites in my 10 gallon (which are still high) and I find a bunch of fry. So, I decide the nitrites are gonna kill em so I move them to a 2.5 gallon fry tank. The problem is, it is not cycled. All I did was add some last minute aquasafe.

WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!?

:) If the 10 gallon is all cycled, you can get a breeder net and put the fry in there until the 2.5 gallon tank is ready.

I would not worry... put 50% tank water with 50% clean water in the new tank..they will be fine. Snails if you have any to help keep things clean and maybe either a piece of Java Fern or plastic plants for a little cover... No gravel. airstone but no other filtration. and do daily water changes. Keep a check on it with tests etc and keep the temp about 80degrees.

They should be fine.. and wil do better than a breeder net in the main tank, as you can't have the higher temp that they really should have.

Hope your little ones are fine

I had 7 Molly fry while cycling and now that cycling is about over they are 2 months old and doing just fine. Just do regular watrer changes, like every other day to dilute the nitrites.
