I'm getting a 5 gallon mini bow aquarium for my fry. I'm hoping it arrives this week. Half my fry are 3 weeks old, the rest are 4 days old. I will use water from the aquarium they are in now to fill up the new one. Since they will be the only fish in the tank is it still necessary to put plants for them to hide in? I was planning on just putting in some bottom decor only.

Is there anything else I need to do for them?

I'm feeding them freeze dried brine shrimp and they are in a net right now in my 29 gallon aquarium.
Some of my 3 week old fry are about 1/2 inch long. Almost.

I still can't see to tell the sexes apart. I thought it was 3 weeks....I'll keep watching though.

Thanks for any tips, ideas, and expertise.

You still probably need to put a little sponge filter in it, and cycle it before adding the fry, a few plants will be best as well, they like to hang around in them.
