Anyone know much about raising fry?
I have a 3 week spawn, my first lot. They seem to be growing nicely. I have had a few dead ones, normal I suppose. The tank bottom is kept clean and aged treated water added when I clean the bottom, to top it up. Sponge filter running for about a week on low.
Looking at the babies with a magnifying glass, I noticed that a couple of them have slightly fuzzy tails. They are still very small so difficult to see, but it does look like it may be fungus? Not sure what else I can do for them. IAL extract already in the water from the start. Should I have added a bit of salt perhaps as well? Is this just survival of the fittest?
