I have got fry in my tank!

I am thinking they are platy's but they are too small to be 100% sure at the moment.

Current inhabitants are neons, cherry bars, harlequin rasbora, wcmm, zebra danio, platy's!

Am i right in assuming that platy's are the only livebearers there and thus the fry must be from them?

well i would it could be the platies and is most likely to be them, but you get fry from all fish.

BTW how big is your tank as that common plec may grow up to and over 2ft long, also most of your fish except the plec need to be in groups of 5+

:good:

The fry are pretty small still but the fish seem to be pretty much ignoring them and letting them get on with nibbling on algae wafers!

tank is 70l

the plec is currently about 3 inches long but it has a bigger home waiting as soon as it reaches a larger size in exchange for some peppered cory's

I have found so far that my fish are more active in pairs and trios than they have been in the past in groups of 5+ - especially the danio's and barbs!

No experience of having less than 5 neons so far though!
