Fry Trade?

Just an idea for the moderators, how about a thread specifically for trading fry? members could trade or give away fry to other members in their area. This could be a way for finding homes for unplanned fry, obtaining free fish! (if you have fry to trade) and a wider variation of fish/colour than you may have at your local aquatic centre.

If this idea is used may I suggest that payments being asked for fry be banned to stop online shops or people just trying to make money?

What do you guys think?

You can already do this in the forum's Buy, Sell & Swap section.

Another thing you might want to look into is finding and joining your local aquarium society. Members do this kind of thing at every meeting. You will also get to meet some friendly people who share the same interests that you do.

You don't even have to swap them you can have them! They're sunset platies! Only a few weeks old at the mo so still pretty small (1cm) I have about 45 in a nursery tank and both females are about half way through another pregnancy!

You want them they're yours (you'll have to collect though not keen on posting)

It would be easier if the buy sell & swap section had some sub sections for stuff like equipment, fish, etc or a way to filter through what is in a persons region

The Mods have been talking about what might be the best way to run that section. We want to make it usable for our members without letting commercial interests in. I'll mention your idea to them.

It's usually helpful if you add your location to the title of the thread when you start one in there.

But your right about the location but sometimes its not always clear where they are
