Hey everyone. I recently set up a 40gal long for my cichlid fry. I've got a spare smaller filter set up now as to not cause them too much trouble with flow rate (and it was already cycled) I'm going out today to get a more suitable filter as they all seem to be swimming around fine and have actually grown quite a bit over the last week.
My walmart carries tetra whisper filters both internal and external for a 40gal tank but what would be better for this specific tank?
Right now I have a small external with the intake wrapped in filter floss (cotton like stuff, held on with elastic bands)
