when i feed my adult platys blood worms, most of the fry will each grab a blood worm and try to eat it. keep in mind that the blood worm is the length of the fry! they can get about half the blood worm into their belly, the other half hangs out the front like a cigar. it takes them a few hours to digest enough of the blood worm so that they can suck the rest in. it is so entertaining to see them swimming around with the blood worm hanging out like a cigar, i wish my digital camera was good enough to take a picture for all of you to see, but the fry are too small and the flash reflects and messes things up. :\

My fry do the same when I feed them bloodworms! Usually, I have to cut up the bloodworms so they can fit into their mouths. It's funny to watch them with half a bloodworm sticking out of their mouth!
