hiya i have some platy fry thats about 6 weeks old,one of them shot up and is now in the tank with the big fish but the other 4 are still quite small and will get eaten in the big tank if i put them in,any ideas on why they are still tiny? they all eat really well.

it natural to get different growth rates. some males will develop very slow, and have been know to take up to a year to turn into true males.
However these males are the biggest and strongest males ur get.

It could be that you may think that they are eating good, but it really is that the biggest one just ate way more. Or the other ones are just naturally smaller.
