Okay so here's the deal i have a 10g fry tank with 7 black mollie (4days old) fry in it.

i just noticed they one of my silver mollies in my community tank has just gotted huge, almost square like so i know she is going to birth the fry soon.

My question is can i put her in my my other fry or will she eat them?

What is your opinion? i also have a net breeder, but that puts alot of stress on the fish.

my molly never ate fry but then again neither did my guppy, so if you really want to keep the fry i woulddn't risk it, why not let her brith in the main tank add a few floating plants and some fry should survive long enough for you to see them and move them to the other tank

depends on the size of your fry because she will eat um up if to small

yep. Def. let her breed in the main tank, as long as you have vegetation in there :D Some will survive. Especially if you check your tank multiple times daily. You should spot them, and have enough time to transfer them into your fry tank.

bare in mind that the silver mollie is larger than the black mollies when adult so this fish will be able to eat them easily, if given the chance she WILL eat them so good coverage will be needed.

i would add the 10 fry to the net and leave her to drop in the tank on her own, that will save your fry and they wont get stressed in there
