hi all wake up this morning and found fry in my tank i dont know if they r from the mollys or platys iv got nothing to put them in and only found 2 fry at the moment they r hiding under my lotus plant they keep moving when anything comes close they r very fast will they survive in the tank?

If you want to keep them alive, try and get a breeder net/box or another tank.  The adults will be looking at them as a snack for a while.

Also, fry need to fed differently than adult fish to become healthy.  That's another reason to have a separate vessel for the fry.

yes getting a breeding net in a hour iv cought 3 fry at moment and they r
are in a plastic food contaner in the tank till i get the breeding net

Excellent!  I'd recommend Hikari's First Bites.  I feed them small meals about four times a day.  Supplement that with baby brine shrimp and they'll grow like crazy!

Post some pics if you can :)

Thanks
Got the breeding net and i got  a hatchery just incase more mollys or platys give birth.
i got some "HIKARI TROPICAL MICRO PELLETS" from the LFS dont know if it will be any good for the fry anyone?

when i was there got some frozen daphnia for the other fish and some tetra wafer mix and putting the other fish onto tetra pro energy has they was not the colour one there.

The hikari micro pellets are too big for small fry.
They need powdered food in the beginning.
The plastic container you are keeping them into has stagnant water, hence no oxygen!!!
I hope you are doing several water changes daily with water from the main tank because they'll die from ammonia and lack of oxygen in no time.
The food visible on the bottom is way too big and way too much.

As Snazy says the pellets will be too big for the fry, get a small pestle & mortar & grind the pellets into a powder for them.
Add an airstone to the container they're in & change the water daily, siphon out any uneaten food

I think that container was a temporary vessel for the fry until he got a breeder net.

I also have the Hikari Micro Pellets.  They will be too big indeed.  Hikari First Bites are what I recommend.  They love it!  My fry go nuts whenever I open the lid and show them the green bag. :)

Yes you did but PAH are really bad they dont have it and they didnt even have a breeding net or hatchery, had to get it from a shop that only sold equipment no foods. ill stick with crushed/grinded flake food until i can get to my LFS 14 miles away. the one i trust and been going to all my life.
before we moved to this house we had 3 difrent tanks ( oscar / tropical / and fry tank) we use to feed babys/fry angels on live brine shrimp put havent got the hatchery no more, we will have to get another one soon and a small tank :)
