My male convict and female has fry in my 180ltr tank the fry were about and hidden sometimes for about 2-3 days... But now i woke up this morning to have discovered the male fish chasing the female around and not letting her in the area were the fry were. I do not see any sign of the fry unless they are hidden as the pearentr sometimes do that.. If the male gets to aggressive should i remove it strait away? some people say that thats just normal and they will calm down after a few days.

I had the same problem the first time my cons spawned, the male wants to breed again and has most likely eaten most of the fry, remove him to another tank and allow the female to recover from the stress of spawning and being chased. There is a possibility the male could kill the female if he constantly harrasses her. If there are any fry left in the tank she should find them and round them up again and take care of them. If the male has eaten the fry leave them seperated for about a week then re-introduce him. It takes them a few attempts to get it right sometimes.
