I have about 25 molly fry. One is just at the bottom, trying to swim, but can't. He scoots around on the bottom and on the shell in the tank. I don't know what to do for him!

i wouldnt stress our about it somtime with these fishes even though there gestation happens inside the mouther womb they can still come our under developed with a residual part of there yoak sack still there making it a little bit harder for them to swim give the lil one a couple of day if thats what it is he should soon be up in the shoal with the rest of them

a month old without being able to swim? he's one tough nut. maybe he was born with some birth defect?

I put my ill frys in a breeding trap in the main tank, with some floating plants. I feed them with liquid food or mashed egg white so they wont starve or get harrassed by others.

Perhaps the water condition is changing and it's too sensitive for any changes?

Please tell me the breeding tank is cycled? Do check your water parameters in case that food you've been feeling them is polluting the water.

I feed my molly fry on ground up vegetable flakes (fish food specifically for livebearers).

I feed them HBH fry bites. Everyone else seems fine. He is a little smaller, though. Maybe that's the problem? When I turn off the airstone he swims better, but still not great.
