Last night I went to switch off the lights in my sons tank & I spotted 4 fry. Nothing strange in that you might think but the only fish that could have produced these is little more than a fry herself. She was born at the end of January & has been in the tank on her own for 4 weeks now. We put her parents in my tank as my son wants to reorganise his. (He wants to get away from livebearers.) I would have thought she was too young to get pregnant, bearing in mind she could only have been a little over 2 months old when daddy did the dirty deed. I also have 2 of her sisters in my tank but dad shows no interest in them at all.

yup, they can get pregnate very early one in live, two months is about the age, but sence she was born in January, she would be older than two months, moving into her 4th month.

Livebearers breed like crazy. They will start that young.
