Fry Advice Needed

i have guppies and platies i believe that one of my guppies dropped fry so far i was able to get 7 out and i moved them into a filtered 1.5 gallon. is there anything important i need to know? such as do they need a light on all night? anything important this is my first time dealing with fry. i of course know that the 1.5 wont be a permanent home for them

Plenty of food and lots and lots of water changes. They don't need a light.

Feed them about 3 times a day, and light isn't necessary. The only need heater and filter.

I have flakes and frozen brine shrip is that good?

Perfect If the fry are very tiny, rub the food through a sieve first.

They were just born last night and maybe this morning. What do u mean run it through a sieve? So it would be bad if I jus drop a little piece of the brine shrimp in there?

Brine shrimp have quite tough outer shell, so new born fry might find them too tough to eat. If you rub it through a sieve, what comes through should be fine enough for them; the stuff left can be fed to the older fish

Yes, just powder the flake food down.
Apparently brine shrimp is really good for them...

Yes they are. I didn't think I would get lucky enough to save them before they were ate but I'm so happy I did

Well I happened to walk by the tank and seen a baby swimmin so grabbed a bowl and put some of the tank water in it and grabbed it out then transferred him to the 1.5g. Then a few mins later was another. So then I sat there and just stared at the tank for hours hahaha. Started moving the huts and plants around and sure enough I found a bunch more. It was super exciting I'm going to keep one and bring the other 9 the our LFS
