i got my first ever lot of frozen artemia yesterday and just gave everyone some (they all have fat little tummys now)
always been a bit intimadated by live/frozen food and stuck with pellet and freeze dried.
this is the fishies xmas pressie!

but there's loads left over, how long will it keep for?
going away this evening and will be back on monday, it won't keep that long will it? seems like such a waste.

i don't trust my housemates to feed the fish, so the fish are having a few days off food to work off those tumtums!

Someone was asking about this yesterday actually, I'll repost what I told them:

Whatever you have left thawed but unused is good refrigerated for about two to three days before it goes bad and needs to be tossed out. Never leave it sitting out though.

Don't put any thawed food back in the freezer, refrigerated only. If you bought cubes, the cubes can be cut out and used individually, if you bought the flat pack, just break a chunk off and put the rest back. If you put thawed food back in the freezer, it can get freezer burn and go bad. If it wasn't out too long though, it should be okay.

i would just cut what you need. the only reason why i wouldnt feed it again is because brine shrimp looks kinda gross after they have been defrosted for a while
