Frozen Bloodworm

On a breeding site it says they do not feed frozen bloodworm due to the risk it carries. It it something about bacteria forming on the frozen wood or something. I cant find the article.

I would say you have more chance of bacteria from live foods rather than frozen as the frozen stuff is gamma streated to get rid of any of the nasties.

Yep, I feel you've either mis-read some information, or you heard an internet myth. Frozen food is normally fine, I don't see why it's any different with Bloodworm, or any different for ciclids. (Incidentally, I've used bloodworm with much success and continue to do so.)
