ok i have one frontosa that i have had for about 7 months. but how can i tell if it is a male or female. becuase i want to get another one. but if i have a male i want to get a female and if i want a female i want to get a male. i have a 125 gallon tank. lots of hiding places. and my frontosa is 6 stripes. i want to make little babies. thanks

Simple way would be to post a pic.

Their not the easieast to sex when young and can take a couple of years to mature, also I belive they prefer to live in groups
