Frontosa`s With Pics!

I have 6 frontosa, 4 of them have 6 bar and 2 of them have 7 bars, if i keep them in the same tank will the 7 bar mate with the 6 bars? im hoping not, im pretty sure i have 1m/1f 7 bars, atm they are about 1 to 2 years old, they havent developed a bump on there heads yet, how old would use think they are? they measure at around 10cm!
& also what kind would they be?

They're lovely looking. The 7-bar I imagine are the Kigoma varient, as for the others I don't know. Here's an article on sexing them.

And yes, I'm pretty sure any of the differnt varients will interbreed, so if you are wanting to sell fry, it would be best to move the 7-bars to their own tank.
