How long could one keep 3-5 young frontosas (3-4cm) in a 30 gal tank before they outgrow it?

I am planning a large (bout 150 gal) tang tank aswell as my current malawi, but i think its gonna be 6 months to a yr before it will be fully set up, as it gonna be in-wall mounted.

anyway to cut a long story short, how long can thes little fella be in a 30? its just i have been offered a good deal (free :good: ) from my lfs

thanks

at 3cm you could keep 4 frontosas in the tank for 6 months as in my lfs they had a order of these by accident as they have two lfs close. and this one doesnt stock africans it stocks more new world cichlids. but they kept them as they sold a few. they must have had them from 3 cm in the same tank (about 15 fronts) for about 4 months and always looking healthy.

so i would say yes but someone back me up on this :)

id imagine its fine as long as they were by themselves and only for 6 months and they are still small.
