My frontosa has been fine and recently I added some more fish. There is currently about 20-20 fish that are just over an inch and then a frontosa which is about 3-4" then an albino that's about the same . Over the past few days the frontosa has gone all black unless the lights are off and he doesn't seem very active fed then tonight and he was eating but he is now just in the corner all black. Any ideas? Is he just annoyed with all the kids running riot or is he badly?

Cheers!

What fish and how many have you added?
What is your complete stocking?
Size of the tank?

cheers

Complete stocking is maybe 20-25 fish tank is 3ft with plenty of hiding spaces and as I said there all small

Yeah but what are the other fish and how many did you put in recently?
Looks like to me the front which is quite calm is getting stressed by all the frantic movement by all the the others. If you can list the fish you have then we can help to what to do.

ill have a look when i get home and list what there is. I was thinking of moving some of the rocks so there is an open space. alot of the movement goes on around the rocks and was thinking the open area would then be quieter!

If youve got malawi cichlids then this is the problem. As mentioned they are hyperactive fish and are causing the slow moving front stress. They also need the rocks to get away from each other. Youd be best off removing the front before anything bad happens. cheers
