Frogs and turtles

I went to a place called Sheffley Gardens today. Took a few pictures of the flowers but I like these ones better, froggies and turtles!

This was a really awesome frog (toad?) that was on the side of the first pond. I got so close to it that I could of easily touched it without a problem. It looks like it has discs on the sides of it's head:

Here is the backend of a frog I saw at the other pond. Didn't get too close though.

Bullfrog tadpoles! Their is two in this picture.

I thought this was so cool - this red-eared slider was right near the side of the pond, digging through the leaves. He wasn't afraid of us at all.

whatever you do-dont get a bullfrog. theyre huge noisy and they eat fish.
they are everywhere around here yet i decided to get a few for my pond anyways (what was i thinking?!?!)
i cant go outside after 5 without hearing their the thundering banjo sound of mating calls...
