I am looking into Frogfish and find these fish amazing.

The "bible" on these fish is a book called "Frogfishes of the World" by Theodore W. Pietsch and David B. Grobecker; Stanford University Press, Stanford, California.

Sadly this book is out of print and I have not seen a copy yet on internet or bookshop.

Should any UK members notice this book I would be most grateful if you could drop me a PM.

Cheers

Andy

Most have on-site photocopiers, costs a lot and its pretty awful, but if theres a few key pages it would be handy.

Failing the good old photocopy method, perhaps a quick stint on ebay might lead to better prospects. There is always the chance that you may find an e-book version somewhere too (If you have a colour printer then bingo, instant book minus the covers and 500 odd bucks a photocopyer would cost  ...ok, maybe not so instant, printing does take a while on that magnitude).

If I recall correctly there are some serious lists waiting for those things on Amazon. I try Ebay every so often, but I think, for now at least, I shall have to wait or check libraries when I need it. There is a petition requesting that an updated one be put into print - though the effectiveness of such things is eratic to say the least.

If you fill out that form, Amazon will notify you if they find one. I found a rare book that my sister had as a kid and gave it to her for her birthday. It may not be cheap, but, if you want the book, it's worth the wait. SH
