Fish Crazy
I have made a nice friends here in Oxford where we moved in April. I finally have someone just as interested in fish keeping and breeding and all that wonderful stuff that I had to come to the internet to get before.
Recently she needed me to drive to Tupelo (45 mi) to pick up her recently repaired sewing machine. I was going to Tupelo anyway, so I went ahead, no big deal.
I didn't expect any payment, that's what friends do.
Yesterday I was admiring her baby angels, just about size to post to ebay and sell. I said I wanted some and how much did she want. Guess what! You probably guessed it right...she said I could scoop out what I wanted as a thank you for picking up her machine. (pics soon) Whoopie!
I moved some fish around and put the 9 new pea and dime-sized babies right here on my desk.
There are 3 golds, 3 marbles, 2 silvers and a black.
Unfortunately, I doubt the black is going to survive.
He didn't do well over night without a heater (thank you, Katrina
) The others are doing fine and exploring their new home.
Having fish breeders for friends certainly does have some fringe benefits! (but I would be friends anyway, of course)
