friendly fish

Ive got mollies and platties in my tank they are extremly friendly if i put my hand in the tank they all swim around it and nibble at it, one of my platties rubs her body against my hand. Every time I go near the tank she comes to the front and swims round excitedly. Does or has anyone else had this experince with there fish?

My mollies nibble at my finger too and everyone always gets excited whenever I come by and tank. Its part of the joys of this wonderful hobby.

My Mbuna reglularly nibble at my fingers but i think they are actually trying to eat them!

I can hand feed my tiger barbs. Even if I hold it just above the surface they will jump and grab the food from me. Only the 3 biggest ones come above to get food, the younger ones won't do this yet.

My fish will nibble my fingers from time to time when i am re-arranging objects in the tanks but they are probably just after the nicotine on my fingers from smoking
