Hello, looking for a bit of advice....

Have had my first tank for bout a year and a half now (now have two others... bitten by the bug) and today noticed some small "egg" type objects stuck to the wood and rock work (not tank sides or plants) They are seed like and white, i thought they were grains of sand but they are slightly bigger, less transparent and appear to be stuck..

Not a clue what is creating them... 180 litre tank

I have in this tank -
2 female mollys (livebrearers so out)
2 female swordtails (same)
3 golden gouramis (bubble breeders?)
4 opaline gouramis (same?)
1 bolivian ram (eggs in a hollow?)
1 leopard danio
2 red eye tetras
1 rummy nose tetra
1 emperor tetra
1 kissing gourami
1 pearl gourami
1 blind cave fish
1 catfish (spotted plec? - rescue fish so not sure)
1 widow tetra
2 black neon tetra (i think)
3 x-ray tetra
3 rainbow fish
2 glass cats
1 zebra snail
1 shrimp

All inhabitants get along fine, recently took on a few (soon to be) homeless fish but not sure what, if any would be making the eggs. Its not white spot as ive had that (in another tank)... Any advice much appreciated!

The zebra snail. Assuming it's a nerite. Do the eggs look like little white seeds? Nerite eggs are almost impossible to get off. But they won't hatch in freshwater. You'll get used to them.

aware its full at the moment, as i mentioned i took on a tank that someone couldnt keep. Im going to transfer some into my other 140 litre but due to the aformentioned white spot on a fish in that tank I cant until im sure that its safe, would rather have one crowded tank than a lot of sick fish...

While on the topic, I have a couple of tanks just waiting to get set up. Have a 60litre and a 20litre... Anyone any ideas for a project? Was thinking i might try breeding fighters.. have never had much luck keeping the males.. they last a few months then die, i dont think a community tank really works well as they are a bit shy... However i know that they dont need too much space so would be fine in a smaller tank by themselves...

Or is anyone doing anything else exciting in smaller tanks?

It's not so much the amount of fish, but shoaling ones that you don't have enough of. Are they the ones you took on?

Bettas usually do better in small tanks by themselves. Mine is in a 25 litre tank with a bumblebee nerite for company. Your 20 litre would be fine for one, so long as it's filtered and heated. But breeding them needs a lot of time and equipment. If you hop over to the betta section, you'll find people to advise you and there's also a sticky on breeding them in the faq section there.
You have quite a bit of choice for your 60 litre, depending on what you like.

The two glass cats are what are left of my original six, the rummy nose was one of six and the three x-ray were originally five.. I also had four danios to start with too..

The other tetras (red eye, black neons, emporor, widow) were all part of the other tank that i took in (along with alot of the gouramis who are pretty big)

Once the space issue is resolved and I move some into my other tank (currently - 6 cherry barbs, 1 kissing gourami (moved from the first tank due to fighting with the other one) one dwarf gourami, two german rams and two american flag fish), would you suggest that i "top up" the levels of the tetras / cats etc??.. perhaps have one tank just with mainly shoaling fish?
