Freshwater Lighting

Which temperature is best for a freshwater tank? 5500k / 6500k / 9500k / 18,000k
I'm looking for the right fluorescent bulb to enhance the overall appearance of my fish. The one that came with my tank hood seems a bit dim and yelo. Live plants would not be a concern, my plants are artificial.

It doesn't really matter if you don't have plants, its really your preference. The higher the temperature the bluer the light is the lower the temperature its more red like normal lighting.
