You might not have noticed, but I have a posting about this in the oddballs section already..... I should perhaps have mentioned this.

maybe, lol.

but yes flounders are cute in theyre own way. and I must admit, my brother got hoocked into buying some of them once as well. They were very cute, but they died.

looks lovely!!

doesn't look much alike to the brackish species of flounder i had although there colouring can vary alot.

just a note of warning don't have any tubes small enough for them to get wedged in.

Mine decided to crawl into a tube that was in the tank curled up it's sides to get in there and thus to say it couldn't get out again until i pushed it out shortly after it died as it's sides were still all curled up.

Thanks guys & girls :) Sorry to hear about your chap that died in the pipe, Paul. I don't have any tubes or pipes in my tank apart from the filter outlets and they are pretty full on strong so I doubt they'd decide to call that home. I has made me think about the filter inlets in my Fluval + though :/ but there's just really nothing I can do about that :( so I'll just have to keep an eye on them - though it's really quite tough in the sand !

That is a cuttie. But i thought they were ambush predators? Do u know some specs on this fish that i could have a look at??

Thanks :) I have another thread going in the oddballs section, as I'm trying to get some more specific information about them. That thread also contains some links to more info about them - the little I could find out there on the www !
