These are some of my opinions!

most exciting : Arowana of any kind
ugliest: No fish is ugly
Least likely to live: Baby paratilapia polleni
best begginer: neon tetra
most misunderstood: bettas and their needs of space
Most boring: common pleco
most expensive/rarest/most beautiful: The snow arowana in my signature. It sold for $68,888! Now its the mascot of Aro Dynasty.

Fancy goldfish, flowerhorns, BPs, guppies etc...

Least likely to survive
Guppies... Everyone *loves* guppies :shifty:

most misunderstood
Goldfish of any type

Best begginer
Anything, no reason why a beginner can't keep a particular species if they're sensible.

most boring
Goldfish, guppies, tetras, cories, plecs.... etc.

most expensive
Probably some form of aro, or a ray of some sort.

rarest
Lots.

most beautiful
Lots.
 
most exciting - puffer fish they watch me more than i watch them :huh:
ugliest- has to be the dragon goby but i love em :lol:
least likly to survive - clown fish bought by people who have seen finding nemo :no:
most misunderstood - pangasius there is no such thing as a dwarf pangasius :no:
best beginner - common goldfish if housed properly :nod:
most boring - pirahna, they do nothing if not being fed -_-
most exspensive - a green aro of some kind sold for £350,000 it was in pfk a few months back :hyper:
rarest - the same aro it was only one in existance
most beautiful - a good quality male betta :good:
 
most exciting - frogfish when eating
ugliest- oscar
least likly to survive - regal tang brought by someone who has just watched finding nemo
most misunderstood - piranhas - no they won't tear off your hand
best beginner - danios
most boring - flatfish I believe, just hide all day
most exspensive - the platinum aro I think
rarest - the same as above
most beautiful - awesomely red aro
 
Most exciting-Archerfish, especially if they are trained to spit at their food.
Ugliest-Sailfin tetras, just because of their strange lumpy angry heads.
Least likely to survive-Chocolate gouramies, so few people buy sp. tanks for them.
Most misunderstood-Pirahna, just big tetras really. (still love em though)
Best begginer-Climbing perch, they will survive anything, no water, no oxygen in the water and poor water conditions.
Most boring-Anything in the top 20 most popular fish.
Most expensive-That aro or a really big Koi
Rarest-Loads of stuff, but I will offer up an melanistic anything, apart from Megalechtis thoracatum where a large population is in the Amazon.
Most beautiful-Il say it, then shoot my self: Cardinal tetras.

I'm sorry, but how is the clown loach the most boring fish?
 
Most exciting- danios... always on the move!
Ugliest- bubble-eyed goldfish
Least likely to survive- feeder fish (duh! :lol: )
most misunderstood- goldfish and thier need for space
Best begginer- danios
most boring- male bettas (sorry, they don't do anything :/ )
most expensive- I guess those aros?
rarest- GUPPIES! kidding, I don't really know/
most beautiful- gouramis
 
Most exciting - african butterfly fish
Ugliest - I searched but I didn't find anything
Least likely to survive - great wite shark (dunno if it classifies for here though :p...)
most misunderstood - sharks
Best begginer - depends on the begginer
most boring - no such thing as a boring fish... they all amuse in some way
most expensive - dunno, never searched :p...
rarest - read above
most beautiful - impossible to decide ;)
 
Hehe! I knew this would happen! I just don't fine Clown Loaches particulary interesting.

They are one of the most social fish you can get! They display amusing antics and each have individual characters. My clowns have skirmishes against the plecs against the fight for food. I have over 100 fish and they are probably the most interesting ones I have!
A boring fish would be guppies IMO.

Yeah, I appreciate that people like them. It's just my opionion that I don't! lol!

Ugliest - None, except Dyed fish
Least likely to survive - Great white shark
most misunderstood - Goldfish
Best begginer - Danios
most boring - Guppies
most expensive - The aro previously mentioned
rarest - many species
most beautiful - Australian Lungfish
 
Most exciting - Corydoras catfish
Ugliest - Balloon Mollies
Least likely to survive - Iridescent Shark, the tank sizes people keep them in... :/
most misunderstood - Goldfish
Best begginer - Zebra Danios, active, hard, colorful
most boring - Guppies
most expensive - L046, Zebra Pleco
rarest - L046, Zebra Pleco
most beautiful - oh... the choices! Zebra Pleco, Rummy Nose Tetra, Clown Loach, RTS, Discus, Bettas, Angelfish, Tiger Barbs
