This is a game of which I thought of yesterday. Unfortunately, @Crispii beat me to it, but this is my version.

Basics

- I post a picture of an easy, medium, and hard fish too ID.
- You ID it, doesn’t need to be all 3.
- The winners will be announced the day after
- The winners are first come first serve
- Latin and common names are accepted

- You need to specify which fish you are ID’ing
- The fish will be in order from easy, medium, hard
- I will give a hint if I feel I need to
- No reverse image searching
- When all the fish are ID’d the next round begins. If one fish isn’t identified within 10 hours, the next round begins.
- Have fun and good luck!

Maybe another rule would be no reverse image searching :)
No clue about the middle one but it's GORGEOUS

I was just going to say this would be a good use of my new reverse image app. I don’t wanna play. I’d be the biggest loser.

I still don’t wanna play. Colin will win everyday, 3x
😹😹😹😹

But, yes, definitely educational. 👍👍👍

first one is a tiger barb, I don't know the variety
second I don't specifically know
last one is a "freshwater" snowflake eel I think (but that's not north american though)

also rename your files because if you hover over the image on computer it will show the file name (your tiger barb file is named green-tiger-barb)

First, as already mentioned is a green tiger barb.

Second is a rainbow shiner I believe.

Third looks like it's a member of Anguilla, but I'm not 100%.

*Does not need to be native to america*

Round 1 is over!!!

And the winners are……….

@realzalio for the Green Tiger Barb (Puntigrus Tetrazonas)and Freshwater Snowflake Eel, which when searched up on google gets the Indian Mud Moray, or Gymnothorax Tile.

@Caesar was correct with the Rainbow Shiner Notropus Chrosomis.

A new round (that will be harder) will be put in place.
