I was wondering does anyone have any Freshwater Clams? I was also wondering do they even move, I know they burrow in to the gravel but mine are staying above the water, am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in Advanced.

Thanks,
Josh

I have a freshwater mussel. At first I just layed it on the gravel and did noting for a few weeks, just opened its shell a bit, but then it started putting it's foot out (big white thing), but it couldn't move itself, so I shifted it a bit so the side bit that opens was nearer to the gravel. Next thing I knew it was half buried. Then it disappeared under the gravel, couldn't find it for ages! it's still there somewhere and alive but to be honest you'd never know!

Thanks for the Help. One of them is now burried in the gravel, but the other one is sitting on the top.

Thanks,
Josh
