Freeze Dried River Shrimp

got some for my puffer but gave one to a betta. One of my youngest, he attacked it, chased it round tank, tried to drag it to the bottom of his tank and every time he let go it bobbed back to the top. After half an hour I took it out!

I actually just got some yesterday, may try giving one to my betta tonight. He's not eaten anything but algae wafers since the 2nd week I got him, won't eat anything else

all of mine love the hikari betta pellets...can you not get any of those?

I've tried them, also tried tubifex, bloodworm, flakes, crisps and tetrabetta but he's a picky and incredibly grumpy little fish!

those are great!! my fish love them!, lol, great thing is nothing but the bettas eat them, which is handy as my girls are in a tank with greedy plattys and a molly

were those tubifex and bloodworms freeze dried? if so, he may be holding out for frozen instead.

Ive always used hikari, and mine seems to gobble it up more eagerly than freeze dried bloodworms!
Have you tried fasting, robotochan?

I have had bettas that havent eaten for 10 days. I usually clean them out, and starve for a few days the little devils eat anything then!!
