thanksYeah, Its healthy and clean.
My freeze dried bloodworms float at the top until eaten. None fall too the bottom or are wasted. and the fish love them!
Live is always better though.
yes but fish eat it in the water so it's not exactly dry when they eat itImagine yourself eating dehydrated food straight out of the package.![]()
Does rehydrating it make it sink? I tryed to make mine sink by squeezing them tightly to a shrimp pellet and plopping it in!
Does anyone know if there is anything other than pellets for cories ect as my angels steal the pellets from them. I need something i can stick in the gravel for the bottom feeders.Does rehydrating it make it sink? I tryed to make mine sink by squeezing them tightly to a shrimp pellet and plopping it in!
Yes, most will eventually sink. I swirl them vigourously in a glass of warm water and after a few minutes, half or more will sink. Some will have air trapped in them and although they soften up nicely they still float. With a bit more time, nearly all will sink.
Mine fish are now spoiled on frozen and aren't much interested in the freeze dried any more. Freeze dried bloodworms put straight in are untouched but they will eat some if they are softened first.
