Are freeze dried bloodworms good for bettas? I want to know because I have been feeding them to my new fish. I want to start feeding them to my bettas to but I wanted to ask you guys because I don't want one of my bettas to end up sick  . So are they good for bettas?

I give my Bettas some once a week and never experienced any probs. Reason i use these over live/frozen is that these are way too much for a Betta where as the freeze dried you can add just the right amount.

I am thinking of feeding mine 2 worms each on Friday and Wednesday  I know Royal will love em

Actually, I think you can consider freeze-dried bloodworms like candy... a treat for a betta but I wouldn't make it part of a regular diet. Freeze-dried anything - and used in daily feedings - can lead to serious constipation problems - especially in bettas. I prefer to not give them and offer the frozen/thawed bloodworms. You don't have to give them the entire cube... just shave off a piece (I sort of cut the cubes in quarters)... thaw them in some tank water and choose 2-3 of the juiciest. This form of bloodworms is actually very nutricious and shouldn't be confused with the freeze-dried ones to be offered as a treat. You can give frozen/thawed bloodworms daily or at least 3x per week. To be honest, the only trouble I have with the frozen/thawed ones is not giving more than they should get - they just love them so much they do their wiggle dance to entice you to give them another one! But overfeeding isn't good either!

something thats really wierd is my betta doesn't seem to like them when ever i try feeding 1 or 2 worms to him he just comes up to it then swims away... i guess its just his presonality...lol
