I'm sure its like any other parent, whenever she feels that they are able to. Ie, that they would be able to run from danger and that they won't get swept away by the smallest current prob. I dont know if there is scientific data around what exact time this is. Maybe its different with every clutch she has, im not sure

i just found the babys this morning, there coming out of the cave, not far though but a few adventure lol. Very sweet

Congratz ^^ when I had convicts, the mother took them out of the cave about 4-5weeks after they were born...

lol when i had my fry the mother didnt have much say in the matter.


they swarmed round the tank like bees with mummy desperately playing sheep dog to round them up and keep my oscar away.


if the fry have jus hatched today then they will jus venture further away from there pit as time goes on.
