four lined pictus cat

I have a wonderful four-lined pictus. He's so great to look at but I almost never see him because all he does is hide. What can be done so I can see him more?

Four lined pims are a nocturnal species so the hiding is normal, you could try installing a moon light tube into the hood of your tank so that you can see the catfish in the evenings which sometimes works.
