there was some old dry ambulia left in the net i use to get the fish out, i was about to pick it up when noticed a small bit had fallen out, to my surprise the platys where eating it as if there was no tomorro! so i stuck another peice in: they loved it!
so now i know if you clean out leaves in your tank dry them then experiment with which fish likes it.
