Found A Fry

I found a fry in my big tank and I am 100% sure it is a platy fry. The problem is he is the only one I found and I don't know how old he is. I was wondering if I can keep him in a rubbermaid plastic container until my 5gal has fry in it. I currently have a platy female in it.

If you know how to stabilize the heat in the rubbermaid container that would be good. Just get a breeder net. That hangs from the tank that you have your other fish in . They wont get him/her.

Hey thanks for the reply. I don't think I will have problems with the temp being is how its not under 70 degrees outside and their is no airconditioner/heater running in the house. I won't have he/she in there long just until my 5gal is free. I don't see platy fry often so when I saw him I had to snatch him before the angel got him.

ps the angel is the fry eliminator [hes huge]
