Found A 50 Gallon In The Paper

i think i have just found a great deal... i have just found a 50 gallon in the local paper for $50 cnd ! it comes with accessories but im not sure what, and i dont think it comes with a stand, i might have to get it, im excited

i might finally have some africans to call my own!, and my birthday is in 15 days

if i get it any ideas on stock?

and if i get it it will deffenetly become a journal

i cant get over the deal

i just called, it comes with lights, heater, filter, and some other stuff still new in the box i have to call again in 3 hours to get the complete details about it, she said it was about 47 gallons not 50, still thats not bad, im just hoping its a 4 footer

i might not get it if its not a 4 footer, i dont want a 3 foot tank, but thats a might good deal, i just called but no one ansered the phone, so i have to wait for another 2 hours to call,

if it is a 3 footer would i still be able to keep africans, i am not sure, but i dont think i can due to limited length is i right to say that 3 feet is too short for africans and they need a minimum of 4? i need a fast response, i have been wondering this for a long time, its about time i get this cleared up

Don't keep africans myself but when I asked on here about a 3 foot tank I was told basically no mbuna - might have a chance with yellow labs or p.saulosi (spelling?) but as a species tank with a trio - but I would still have to rehome anyway

i called to get more info about the tank and to say i was going to buy it but it was sold about 15 mins before i called, so thats a bummer, oh well, that money will go to my laptop im going to buy soon

Ahhh, sorry to hear you missed out on it caboose. Oh well, that just means the perfect cheap tank is still out there. And yes, I wouldn't buy one unless it's a 4 foot, 3 feet is really too short.
