formosa vs. coralife

Hello all. I have decided to go open hood. I want to get either the formosa DX 2 bulb system or the coralife 2 bulb system.

They will be the 24" version. It is freshwater so I need 6500-6700k.

Does anyone recomend one of these over another?

Also does anyone know someone who sells the freshwater version of the formosa??

I have a 36" Coralife and love it.... I bought the Freshwater one with the 6700k bulb and my plants have exploded with growth. Rater than open top, maybe consider a piece of 1/4th inch acrylic cut to fit the top and tight around your filters and stuff.... helps big time on evaporation, and keeps moisture off of your expensive light fixture
