this one really shows how bad the bent spine is

I've had both these fish for over a year now and they are great caricatures
and both are doing very well.

Mmm, crippley. Is the cat very mini or is that a big danio?
the glass cat is about 4" and the large danio is a barred danio Devario pathirana
the smaller danio is a Devario acuticephala

Wolf, that flying fox is a garra I think, have you checked it for an ID?

Cheers for that Wolf....
Looks particularly bad on the Fox, does either show any mobility problems or other difficulties?
Also, the Glass Cat; is it in a shoal, if so is it seperated to some degree from the rest or an active and condfident member?
Did you buy them like this or did the deformities develop over time?
Sorry for the questioning, just interested.

Either way, thankyou very much :D

Ps; Not sure what a garra is but it certainly looks like a true flying fox to me; Epalzeorhynchus kalopterus

nope no mobility problems just can't swim in a straight line, always goes off to the left.

the glass cat is one of 4 I have left from a group of 6 the others are out of shot but they are there.
the other 3 don't seem bothered by him and he is just as active as them.

hmm, buy... not quite the word
more like say to the shop you'll never sell them, I'll take them off your hands for free :)
works every time especially if you are a regular to that shop.

Good man for taking in the 'poorly' fish (although free) alot of people'd have turned their noses up at them.
Anyhow a handy post for linkage and certainly interesting to see, muchos gracias....

Actually i'm going to keep my eye out for a 'kinky' fish, it would certainly be interesting to observe.
