Yes and yes, lots of people on here use them to great effect, but most people use their own yeast mix as its more efficient and a million times cheaper, I can explain more if/when you get one.

The good thing with these especially on a 19g is that its almost impossible to overdose the CO2 so you dont have to worry about killing all your fish!

No probs, can I suggest you read this thread saves me having to write it all again!

BTW the need for the bicrab is contencious, I dont personally use it as the tap water has a KH of 12 os adding more wont really do much, if you have a low KH of say 4 then I would add it as it'll help stabilise the yeast and CO2 production.

Yesturday i made my co2 mix again, and this time i added more yeast, and no bi-carb and i got a better more even stream of co2 bubbles than with less yeast and bi-carb... I suggest you try both.
