After posting about some Fin Nipping going on my new Betta Jazz has been moved into his own tank on his own. He seems much happier and calmer now hes on his own and even flared at his mirror i held up for him.

My next question is what do in terms of food as all he wants to eat is the mushed up pea i put in for him. I have put in some Tetra Betta Flakes but he just spits them out, some freezedried blood worms - no interest and some slow sinking pellets...all of which he ignores and goes after the bigger bits of pea.

Is this normal?
Will he get hungry enough to eat the other food i put in eventually or is there something else i could get him...i am unsure about live food as my last betta died from intestinal parasites and i dont want to go through this again....

I use these and also frozen brine shrimp and he loves it
