k well wa all exactli can you feed your betta?

I feed mine flake mainly but once or twice a week they get daphnia or bloodworm.

i feed mine betta pellets, tetra prima, frozen bloodworms, live brineshrimp, some flakes and freeze-dried tubifex worms.he has the pellets and prima every day, the bloodworms every 2 days, the flakes when he eat them every few days, freeze-dries tubifex worms every 3-4 days and brineshrimp every week or so. i like to varie their diet to keep them intrested and wondering.some of my bettas in communities, sometimes gets extras like veg flakes and tetra tropicl crisps when my other fish leave them.(i usally feed the betta over at one side of the tank using one hand and the other fish at the opposite side using my other hand, sounds confusing but really simple and has worked for me for ages now)they also eat a few fry if they get a hold of them.

My bettas refuse to eat anything else but dryed blood worms, and dont seem to wanna eat anything else even when u give them the option. im takeing it thats not to healthy, n if so, it makes sence y mi friends is a pretti pudgi betta, he is actualli kinda cute tho lol. What would b the most health for them so to speak? or help their diet out better?

I feed mine dried bloodworms with the occasional few pellets. I also have fed mine peas, broccoli, orange, and turkey as treats.

can you use "y's" instead of "i's" where they belong, please? that's seriously like one of my main pet peeves.

but no, my betta's won't touch bloodworms. i guess they're the oddballs. bloodworms and flakes they wont touch, they eat only pellets. i cant find anything else to get them they'll eat.

Don't be too quick to judge people.
Maybe the OP isn't very good with spelling and if that's the case we shouldn't be mean about it. ;)

everywhere at the end? i was just asking, it bugs the crap out of me, just like chatspeak.

I agree, I don't like it when people use text speak either but general spelling is nothing to get uptight about.
I have a 24 year old brother who is mentally retarded, he's got a wife, child and a good job but his spelling is terrible.
My mother was a graduate and her spelling was terrible but she did ok for herself.
There are more important things in life to get upset about, believe me!

Edited to add: Have also got to take into account that English might not be the OPs first language.

lmao im not a idiot, i can spell, i hate the look of y's that is y i use i's, and the only language i know is english. i live in ontario.

I guess I'm with Tropic it annoys the heck out of me too, if you know how to spell and write english correctly then do it, it can make it very hard to read messages sometimes, especially if someone is using "texting" as well. Most of the time I just skip those ones right at the start, if they're too hard to decifer! I'm not being judgemental either, it's just annoying and so are acronyms, what the heck is an OP anyway?

Despite the difficulty I had with reading the initial question in this thread, I did read the whole thread as I'm very interested in what else I can feed my Betta besides pellets and occasional blood worms.

Wow, everyone is so...... uptight here, or is that one word, maybe ill write it both ways to help everyone understand. Anyways, sorry for joing this forum in the first place, and giveing everyone great issues over i's n y's.

Well, we can be a little anal about spelling. It's just that spelling and grammar can make or break an argument, so maybe that's why. At least, that's the reason why I'm anal about it. I know that if I misspell something when I'm trying to make a point, my whole effort can be taken less seriously because I misspelled something. Just comes from spelling and grammar being rammed into our skulls while we were in grade school and being perfectionists, I guess.
