g'day everyone. i was just wondering what would\is a good source of food i could give to my guppies, swordtails and corry?? im not all that sure of what is a suitable food for the 3 and which is raletivley easy to prepare and stock.
also i was considering purchasing some algea wafers for my corries but im not sure whether to feed both algea wafers for the corries and some flake for the guppies and swords at the same time or do i feed all fish the same food one night and the next night the other alternating the two??
sorry for the long text.

ok frozen food is fine you can just put it in your tank though some people like to rinse it first and i feed bot algea wafers and the other food at the same time

Hi,

I've got the same combo as you of corys and livebearers (guppies and platys). I feed twice a day six days a week+ one fasting day, like this:

Monday: fasting

Tuesday morning: bloodworm, daphnia or brine shrimp (I used jellied instead of frozen but principle is the same; both corys and livebearers adore it)

Tuesday evening: flakes

Wednesday morning: catfish tablet+ flakes

Wednesday evening: veggies- whatever we're having ourselves, usually peas, broad beans, broccoli, spinach or sprouts (corys usually ignore this)

Thursday morning: catfish tablet and flakes

Thursday evening: flakes

Friday morning: catfish tablet and flakes

Friday evening : flakes

Saturday morning: bloodworm, daphnia or brine shrimp

Saturday evening: flakes

Sunday morning: catfish tablet for corys+ flakes for livebearers

Sunday evening: veggies as above

I do my water changes on a Saturday, and sometimes an extra one on the Wednesday
