what is the best food to feed them to keep their blueish color, because it seems that most fish food thats suppose to enchance colors only tend to enhances reds, yellows and oranges, but not blue.

Just keep them healthy with any decent quality sinking food and regular water changes - healthy, well bred fish don't need their colors artificially enhanced to look good.

Live foods such as Artemia are readily accepted and good for enhancing breeding behaviour. Frozen shrimp, cockles, Artemia etc is also a good option. Try not to feed to much dry foods like flake and pellets as these can bring on the fatal float in Frontosa.

Just wondering what you guys think of this... i feed my fontosa flakes right now but i don't feed them by throwing the food on top of the water, i throw the food in by the filter so the flakes sink and the fontosa eats the food like that, they rarely go up to the top to get food.
What do you guys think about how im feeding them?

Flakes are a good start but alone aren't a good long term solution for these fish. In the end it's good to consider more substantial pellets and fresh foods like those Marshall mentioned.

what do you guys think about sinking catfish food the hakri brand? dried krill? dried brine shrimp? daphia?
right now i feed them flakes and the "hakri cichlid gold" floating pellets, i have to put the pellets by the filter so the pellets would sink. the Fontosa rarely go to the top of the water to eat.

You don't want the Frontosa to go to the top of the water to eat. The can take in air and end up with that float problem, so make sure all the food you use sinks. Otherwise it sounds good.
